Sebastian Vettel: Give Mick Schumacher time to do his thing

Sebastian Vettelhas urged motor racing fans to giveMick Schumachertime and “let him do his thing” in the face of mounting pressure on the 19-year-old’s shoulders.

The son of Formula 1 legend, Michael, Mick willstep up to Formula 2 this seasonhaving signed with Prema.

He is, however, already on the F1 radar with Ferrari also signing himas part of their Driver Academy.

Vettel had the opportunity to see Schumacher in action up close last weekend when the two teamed up for Team Germany at the Race of Champions.

Asked whether he believes Schumacher could be a star of the future, Vettel told reporters: “I think, give him time.

“He’s under enough pressure as it is but just give him time and let him do his thing and we’ll see what happens.”

Meanwhile Autosport is reporting that Schumacher has joined Nicolas Todt’s management team, All Road Management.
