The VirtualAzerbaijan Grand Prixis the latest race in Formula 1’s official series, and it features two new debutants in an eight-strong Formula 1 driver line-up.

Alex Albon then prevailed in a fight with the Monegasque to get his first win before George Russell did the same the following race. The Williams man joined Leclerc on two wins with a dominant performance around the streets of Monaco.

Each race in the series aims to get as many F1 drivers as possible involved. Joining them are professional drivers from other categories, virtual racers such as YouTubers and celebrities from various other professions, such as footballers and singers.

With real F1 races set to return at the start of July, the Virtual Azerbaijan GP will be the penultimate one of the series. The final one will be next week at the Montreal circuit.

How can I live stream the F1 Virtual Azerbaijan GP?

The official broadcast for the race can be found on Formula 1’s official YouTube channeland their other social platforms such as Twitter and Facebook. This broadcast is the closest thing to that of a real Formula 1 race, with pundits, more professional commentary, multiple camera angles and coverage of the entire race rather than specific drivers.

If you’d prefer the latter, you can watch the race on Twitch. There, various drivers live stream their race, with those of Lando Norris, Charles Leclerc, Alex Albon andGeorge Russellproving particularly popular.

On these streams, you watch the race almost exclusively from their perspective. Therefore, you get a better insight into their own personal race but see far less of what’s going on elsewhere on track.

What time does the F1 Virtual Azerbaijan GP start?

Coverage of the virtual race will begin at around 17:00 UTC.

After some studio build-up, discussion and analysis, things will get underway with a sole qualifying session around 20 minutes into the stream.

There will then be a short break of around five minutes before the race gets underway. With each race being 50% of the full distance, this edition will be around 25 laps long. The broadcast will, in total, last around 90 minutes.

How can I watch the F1 Virtual Azerbaijan GP on TV?

The latest race of the series will be covered on major TV stations from all over the globe, with each of the six major continents showing it.

In the UK, Italy and Germany, it can be found on theSky F1channels. In the Netherlands, Ziggo Sport is broadcasting it while in Spain it is Telefonica. In Poland and Portugal, Eleven Sports holds the rights. In the Scandinavian countries, it can be found on NENT.

ESPN broadcast the series in the USA while Bell Media do so in Canada. In Latin America, Australia and much of Asia, Fox holds the right, with Japan being the exception. There, it’s shown on DAZN channels. Supersport is currently the sole broadcaster in Africa.

F1 Virtual Monaco GP driver lineup

Valtteri Bottas and Esteban Ocon drop out for race number eight and will be replaced by Sergio Perez and Pierre Gasly, both making their debuts. They’ll be joined by usual suspects George Russell, Alex Albon, Antonio Giovinazzi, Nicholas Latifi, Charles Leclerc andLando Norris.

As always, the F1 drivers will be joined by various other professional racers.Mercedesreserve driver Esteban Gutierrez is driving for the Silver Arrows while the Fittipaldi brothers, F2 driver Louis Deletraz and Dakar Rally World Champion, Matthias Walkner, will also be appearing.

The real-life racers will once again have to go up against those who do so virtually for a living. this time around, the YouTubers present will be Jimmy Broadbent and Ben Daly, better known as Tiametmarduk.

There will also be a number of footballers taking part. Thibaut Courtois will be making his fourth appearance, with Gianluigi Donnarumma and Aymeric Laporte competing for the first time.
