Identity of driver who crashed Lewis Hamilton’s former supercar revealed
It is a good job that the individual reportedly responsible for crashing formerly Lewis Hamilton’s Pagani Zonda, has even deeper pockets than the seven-time champion!
帕加尼Zonda 760 LH, Britis定制h racing icon, was bought by Hamilton back in 2015, and just two years on from selling it, the new owner has inflicted some heavy damage thanks to a shunt in Wales.
As per reports, the driver lost control of the V12-powered car and hit the wall at the Penmaenbach Tunnel in Conwy, and while thankfully nobody was injured in the incident, the Zonda has seen better days, with bodywork and suspension damage pictured.
Report names Mark Radcliffe as the driver
And according to theDaily Mail, it is British billionaire Mark Radcliffe, who purchased the Zonda from Hamilton for a reported €10 million, who was responsible for crashing it.
Radcliffe is not just any billionaire at the wheel of a high-powered toy though, as he boasts extensive racing experience in the UK competing in the British GP championships, claiming four victories.

An eyewitness told MailOnline: “The crash was so dramatic. He hit one wall and spun round 360 degrees before bouncing off the other. There was an enormous bang and sparks everywhere. I was worried the car was going to explode.
“My wife and I were on our way to a caravan to begin our holiday and were driving on the dual carriageway.
“It was making a really loud booming noise as it overtook. There was a light rain and the surface may have been slippery.
“I watched as the car sped into the tunnel and then he seemed to suddenly lose control. He hit one wall, span round into the other, which he bounced off before finally coming to a halt.
“It was a spectacular crash and quite terrifying. My wife was quite shaken and I was concerned the car might explode so I drew to a halt and waited to check that he was okay.
“A man got out of the car and he seemed completely okay. He was just worried about the damage to the car. Once we knew he was okay we went on our way and it wasn’t until later that I discovered that it was a famous car.”
“He’s very lucky to escape in one piece after a crash like that,” another source added.
44-year-old Radcliffe amassed the bulk of his fortune via his Victorian Plumbing firm, where he remains the majority shareholder.
