If you want to test your knowledge of the whole history of the sport, and of British drivers, this F1 quiz is definitely for you.

You’ll have to span the whole Formula 1 era to find the 19 British drivers to have taken a race victory – with plenty of World Champions gracing the list, and a couple of names for which you’ll need to search deep in the memory banks (without Googling them, of course!).

The relative ratio of success is pretty small in Formula 1 for British drivers, however, with a total of 164 people having raced under the red, white and blue of the UK since 1950, only around 12% of whom have won a grand prix in that time.

We’ve been relatively generous on time by offering you 10 minutes to name the 19 drivers, with a total of 307 victories between them. Okay, a third of them have come from one person, not naming names, but it is still a decent ratio nonetheless.

Once you’ve finished this quiz, why not try another? We have plenty to choose from here on PlanetF1, and you can try our last Guess the Grid offering next, where we ask you toname the drivers to start the 2003 Austrian Grand Prix.

If you’re looking for a once a day word guessing fix, try out Sportword, Planet Sport’s offering of getting you to work out a Formula 1-related word in just six guesses.

As for right now, fromSilverstoneto Brands Hatch to Donington and beyond, have a guess at the British drivers to win a race in Formula 1. Good luck!
