Haas principal Guenther Steiner doesn’t want Formula 1 to change too much too quickly in 2021.

2021 is scheduled to mark a new era in Formula 1 with pretty much everything getting a revamp from costs, to revenue distribution to regulations.

A budget cap of$175 million per-seasonis coming for 2021, as are18-inch wheels, but many more details are yet to be finalised.

Talks with teams are progressing slowly, but Steiner argues that the current proposals, like a new ground effect design for the cars among others, shouldn’t be rushed in before they are ready for introduction.

“For 2021, the detail is not very clear at the moment,” he is quoted byF1i.com.

“In general, I think the devil is in the detail, and we need to work on that to make sure we’re not taking a wrong way here.

“如果是这项运动的好处,I have nothing against making changes, [but] if we’re not convinced that it will work, we shouldn’t run the risk of changing too much.”
