Following a free weekend to unwind after Monza, Formula 1 is back for one of the most demanding stops on the calendar, the Singapore Grand Prix.

Max Verstappen withstood the test of Ferrari and their tifosi at Monza to score a record-breaking 10th grand prix victory in a row, but now the next challenge awaits as Red Bull continue their pursuit of Formula 1’s first undefeated season.

The Singapore Grand Prix, held around the Marina Bay Street Circuit, is regarded as arguably the greatest physical test anywhere on the calendar, with drivers commonly losing up to three kilos in weight through sweat during the race. Singapore Grand Prix weather: What is the forecast for the Marina Bay race weekend?

After Monza brought about a long-awaited return to dry-weather running in Formula 1, the most likely scenario is a continuation of that trend in Singapore, though as Formula 1 knows all too well from its previous visits here, a heavy downpour can never be ruled out.

The rain threat on Friday drops from 30 per cent at the start of FP1 to below 10 once FP2 comes around, with the chances of rain also slim for qualifying and race day.

Friday 15 September: FP1 [30°C, sunny spells and showers, 30% chance of rain], FP2 [29°C, clear skies, 10% chance of rain]

Saturday 16 September: FP3 [29°C, sunny spells and showers, 30% chance of rain], Qualifying [28°C, clear skies, 10% chance of rain]

Sunday 17 September: Race [29°C, cloudy, 10% chance of rain]
