Mercedes’ incredible gesture for three-year-old fan battling cancer

Mercedes played a big part in a huge surprise for three-year-old Morgan Ridler, who sent a Formula 1 car to Swansea as a part of a supercar convoy for the youngster.

摩根,他被诊断出患有一种罕见的佛rm of cancer aged only two, has formed the inspiration behind the Morgan’s Army Charitable Foundation, and his family have been told that after a relapse, his treatment is not working and he will now be switched to palliative care.

A special event was organised on Thursday for Morgan by his parents, Matthew and Natalie, which included a fleet of supercars being put on parade through a road in Swansea – which was closed for the occasion – including one of Mercedes’ Formula 1 cars, which pulled up outside his house.

Mercedes representatives were there with the car, along with a racing helmet of George Russell, and hundreds of people lined the streets as a fleet of high-performance cars, including people driving Porsches, Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Chevrolets, Aston Martins and more turned out in Morgan’s honour.

The cars made their way to Swansea Airport to give him a guard of honour, before Morgan went up in a plane for an unforgettable flight with his dad.

Mum Natalie toldWalesOnline: “I’m really touched by how many of you turned out, and the cars that turned up as well.

“We know that Morgan loves his supercars and we have some really super cars here today. All those are driven by really kind people who at heart wanted to make a little boy really happy.”

“He really enjoyed taking off in the aeroplane and he likes seeing the sea. We got loads of lovely smiles from him up in the sky and although he’s been feeling a bit rubbish the last couple of days, it was really nice to see him really animated.”
