Guenther Steiner left ‘p*ssed off’ after Kevin Magnussen crashes out of practice
Guenther Steiner admitted he was “pretty p*ssed off right now” after Kevin Magnussen became the latest Haas driver to damage their front wing.
Two of the three practice sessions in Zandvoort were halted after a Haas driver crashed into a wall with Magnussen spinning into the barrier during the early stages of FP3.
It was a similar incident to that of Nico Hülkenberg in FP1 with both drivers destroying their front wings in the process.

The sight of a car in the wall is rarely a good thing for a team principal but it will have been particularly disappointing for Steiner having used three front wings already in the space of one weekend.
With parts limited under the cost cap constraint, Steiner admitted he was “pretty p*ssed off” following the incident.
“Quite disappointed with this on an out lap in Turn 3,” he told Sky Sports F1. “Knowing that you’ve got only two wings left from yesterday of our new wings. I’m pretty pissed off right now.”

Haas did not bring upgrades this weekend and Steiner said the team will need more testing before knowing how much their previous package has affected the car.
“It is a different set up and it was not what we expected so we need to go into more testing to see to make this work,” the Haas boss said. “FP1 wasn’t too bad but in FP2, we didn’t get out what we wanted and obviously Nico was not on the new front wing [for FP2] because he broke one.
“Hopefully we will get some dry weather so we can do more testing.”
