Eddie Jordan ‘bored to death’ with Max Verstappen, worse than Michael Schumacher era

Eddie Jordan says he is “bored to death” with Max Verstappen’s dominance and says it is even worse than the Michael Schumacher era.

The Dutchman has been a dominant force in F1 over the last two seasons as he followed up winning 15 of 22 races in 2022 with winning six of the opening eight so far this season.

The dominance stretches beyond Verstappen as well with Red Bull currently the only team to have won a race and already enjoying a healthy lead at the top of both championships.

公式1不是主导冠军wi不利th Lewis Hamilton having done similar before Verstappen but one of the most dominant runs came in the early 2000s when Schumacher swept all aside to win five titles in a row.

Jordan’s team was on the grid at that period and said Verstappen’s current dominance is even more boring than Schumacher’s time.

“Max Verstappen will emerge over time to be the greatest driver of all time,” Jordan said on the latest episode of the Formula For Success podcast. He’s that good.

“I don’t like the last couple of races, I have to tell you. I’m bored to death with him. He’s just that good. He’s making it boring, more so than the Schumacher era.”

The question on everyone’s lips is whether Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez can combine to win every single race during the F1 season – a feat that has never been achieved before in the entire history of the sport.

Red Bull boss Christian Horner has conceded that it is a target for the team, but are fully aware of the difficulties involved in making that dream become a reality.

“We just take things one race at a time, and I don’t think you let your mind drift too far into the future – so many things can go wrong,” Horner told Sky F1 after the latest Grand Prix win in Canada.

“Can we? Yes. Will we? Who knows? Because there’s so many variables in this game and we’re just taking things one race at a time.

“The team are doing an incredible job, Max is driving out of his skin as well at the moment, so just collectively the group are doing a tremendous job.”
