Lewis Hamilton’s former Pagani Zonda 760 LH, a car customised for the Mercedes star, has suffered its second crash, this time with more serious consequences for the car at least.

Hamilton bought the purple supercar in 2015 and was involved in a minor crash in Monaco when he hit two parked cars, blaming that on a “result of heavy partying and not much rest for a week and a half”.

Seven years later, he sold the car with its new owner recording a heavy shunt in Wales earlier this week.

According to reports, the driver lost control of the V12-powered car and hit the wall at the Penmaenbach Tunnel in Conwy, Wales.

The car suffered damage extensive damage, both to the bodywork and the front and rear suspensions, but thankfully no one was injured.

The Pagani Zonda 760 LH, which was previously owned by Lewis Hamilton, was crashed yesterday in Wales.

The car was sold two years ago for 10 million Euros.

Thankfully, the owner is unharmed.

Last January Hamilton sold his Pagani Zonda for €10million, which brought in a tidy profit as he purchased it for a reported €1.4m in 2015.

The car was specifically designed for the Briton with a manual gearbox with his initials ‘LH’ at the end of the name of the model.

Speaking about the iconic car back in 2015, the F1 driver said: “The Zonda is terrible to drive. It’s the best-sounding car I own, but handling-wise it’s the worst.”

As for his crash in the car that same year he bought it, he cited blamed “heavy partying and not much rest for a week and a half,” he admitted in 2015.

“I am a bit run down. I have been non-stop and trying to fit training in at the same time and not getting a lot of sleep.”
