Here are the complete results from the first practice session in Zandvoort ahead of this weekend’s Dutch Grand Prix.

Max Verstappen has topped the times in the first practice session in Zandvoort, pleasing the throngs of home fans who have turned out to see the Dutch driver racing in his native country.

Verstappen set a 1:11.852 on the soft tyres to get his weekend off to a great start as he aims to make it a third consecutive win in Zandvoort since the circuit returned to F1 in 2021.

Nico Hulkenberg brings out the red flags

While the session was largely straightforward, with only minor offs as Fernando Alonso and Verstappen both ran wide through the gravel in the third sector, it was newly re-signed Nico Hulkenberg who brought out the red flags.

The German driver spun off into the gravel, and was fortunate to avoid serious damage to his car – although team boss Guenther Steinerhas revealed the damaged front wingwas one of the very limited stock the team have with them for the weekend.

Behind Verstappen, it was Alonso who finished in second and quarter of a second behind the championship leader – a fillip for Aston Martin as they aim to bounce back from a poor mid-season.

Lewis Hamilton was third for Mercedes in an encouraging showing, pipping Sergio Perez in the second Red Bull by a tenth.

Alex Albon finished a stellar fifth for Williams as the Grove-based team managed to get both cars into the top 10. Logan Sargeant was seventh, with Lando Norris splitting the two Williams in his McLaren.

Oscar Piastri was eighth in the second McLaren, with AlphaTauri’s Yuki Tsunoda and Alpine’s Esteban Ocon rounding out the top 10.

在后面,罗伯特Shwartman 19法拉利in his rookie appearance in place of Carlos Sainz, while Lance Stroll’s troubled weekend continued as he couldn’t set a time due to a power unit issue on his Aston Martin.
