Leclerc kicks off 2020 testing for Pirelli
Charles Leclerc is the first driver to officially test a Formula 1 car this year, putting in the laps during a Pirelli tyre test.
The Ferrari driver took to the Jerez circuit over the weekend, running Pirelli’s 18-inch tyres ahead of their 2021 debut.
This year Pirelli have been handed 25 days of testing that is 100 per cent dedicated to their 18-inch tyres.

The test took place behind closed doors without any pictures of the modified Ferrari being released.
Ferrari will continue the Pirelli tests at the Fiorano circuit in March.
