Martin Brundle’s epic burn after pathetic snub from Cara Delevingne at Silverstone

Model Cara Delevingne has been strongly criticised for being the latest celebrity who feels they are too good to speak to Sky F1 legend Martin Brundle on the F1 grid.
Brundle, in his usual pre-race grid walk segment, was navigating his way through the packed crowd on the iconic Silverstone track before attempting to get a quick word with Delevingne.
But, he would have no such joy, with Delevingne joining the likes of Megan Thee Stallion and Brad Pitt to snub him. Although, it is worth noting that Pitt apologised for his actions and gave a full interview to Sky F1 at this year’s British Grand Prix.
“她不想说话吗?但每个人都需要talk on the grid?” Brundle argued with the Alfa Romeo staff member accompanying Delevingne on the Silverstone grid.
“That’s the deal now. Everybody talks on the grid.”
Brundle then swiftly navigated a couple of people to ask Delevingne: “Can we have a quick chat…Sky F1?”
She responded with a shake of the head and looked nervously towards the Alfa Romeo staff member.
Brundle repeated to her: “Well the deal is everybody needs to speak on the grid.”
She then claimed she “couldn’t hear anything”, to which Brundle merely laughed at knowing full well she could hear every word.

Brundle, though, would deliver the last word in epic, sarcastic fashion.
“好吧…我肯定会非常感兴趣ing.”
Brundle would have slightly better luck with actress Florence Pugh, singer Liam Payne and Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola, who hadpreviously given him the cold shoulderat last year’s Abu Dhabi race.
Delevingne’s snub will no doubt spark fresh debate over what is expected of celebrities should they have the honour and privilege of being able to stand on a Formula 1 grid.
After the infamous Megan Thee Stallion incident in where Brundle was confronted by an aggressive bodyguard, Formula 1 introduced a new rule which banned huge entourages joining celebrities on the grid.
Formula 1 clarified to PlanetF1.com at the time: “Celebrities aren’t obliged to do interviews whilst on the grid, but security entourages are now no longer allowed to accompany them on there.”
